## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING TAKOFF DEPARTURE AND CLIMB OUT FROM DANBURY AIRPORT, DANBURY, CT., (DXR), PILOT LOST ALL ELECTRICAL POWER AT APPROXIMATELY 7,500 FEET AGL. PILOT THEN DIVERTED TO TWEED AIRPORT, NEW HAVEN, CT., (HVN) AND DECLARED EMERGENCY LANDING ASSISTANCE AND DEPLOYED EMERGENCY GEAR. DURING LANDING ON RUNWAY 20 THE PILOT ENCOUNTERED A PROPELLOR STRIKE WHICH IMPACTED THE RUNWAY CENTERLINE FOR A DISTANCE OF 150 FEET. THE AIRCRAFT FLAPS WERE FULLY RETRACTED DURING LANDING DUE TO LOSS OF ELECTRICAL POWER. THE NOSE LANDING GEAR AND THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR WERE NOT FULLY EXTENDED. DURING POST INCIDENT INVESTIGATION IT WAS NOTED THE ALTERNATOR BELT HAD BROKEN AND COMPLETELY SEPARATED CAUSING LOSS OF ELECTRICAL POWER. THE AIRCRAFT BATTERY WAS NOT FULLY SERVICED. THE 3 BLADED PROPELLOR HAD APPROX 6-8 INCHES OF DAMAGED AND BENT BLADES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
