## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB WPR13LA224](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/WPR13LA224), Apr 29, 2013: Cessna 172M (N20800), Lakeport, CA, substantial damage. Probable cause: Loss of engine power during climb due to a failure of the No. 2 piston assembly; the reason for the failure could not be determined because of the extent of damage to the piston assembly.

## Other reports on N20800 (1)

- [Incident 19840907053279I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19840907053279I), Sep 7, 1984: Cessna 172M (N20800), Upland, CA, Minor damage. Wing tip struck a parked aircraft while taxiing to a wash area. Limited distance between aircraft and taxi line.
