## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON MAY 03, 2013 CESSNA CITATION N891NY A CE-510 EXPERIENCED AN ELEVATOR TRIM WARNING MESSAGE WHILE AT 36000 FEET. THE AUTO PILOT WAS THEN DISENGAGED AND THE PILOT NOTED STIFF FLIGHT CONTROL MOVEMENTS AND SUSPECTED ICE IN THE LOWER AFT SECTION OF THE AIRCRAFT. THE PILOT THEN REQUESTED A LOWER ALTITUDE AND DESCENDED TO APPROX 5,000 FEET. AT THIS ALTITUDE THE CONTROLS WERE MORE EASILY MANAGEABLE. PILOT THEN DECLARED AN EMERGENCY LANDING DUE TO FLIGHT CONTROL ISSUES AND LANDED IN LINCOLN, NEBRASKA AT 19:12 CDT WITHOUT INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
