## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

MAY 05, 2013 DA-40 CANADIAN REGISTRY C-GBUV STRUCK LEFT WING WHILE LANDING AT WILKES-BARRE (KAVP).

MAY 10, 2013 NTSB NOTIFIES ALLENTOWN FSDO OF INCIDENT.

DURING ALLENTOWN FSDO INVESTIGATION, FSDO LEARNS THAT AIRCRAFT HAD WINGS REMOVED AND TRAILED BACK TO OTTAWA, CANADA TO HAVE INSPECTION PERFORMED ON WING TO SEE HOW MUCH DAMAGE WAS DONE. NTSB CONTACTED OTTAWA REPAIR STATION AND LEARNED THAT DAMAGE WAS MINIMAL AND CLASSIFIED THIS AS AN INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
