## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

- [NTSB ERA13CA235](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ERA13CA235), May 9, 2013: Piper PA-28-140 (N4518F), Jacksonville, NC, substantial damage. Probable cause: The student pilot's failure to maintain adequate airspeed during the go-around attempt, which resulted in an aerodynamic stall and collision with the ground.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong.
