## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT MADE AN EMERGENCY LANDING ON CITY STREET AS A RESULT OF ENGINE STOPPAGE AFTER 2.2 HOUR FLGHT. NO DAMAGE TO AIRCRAFT NOTICED.

AFTER RECEIVING 3.5 GALLONS OF AUTOMOTIVE GASOLINE FROM HIS WIFE, PILOT DEPARTED THE STREET WHERE THE EMEGENCY LANDING HAD OCCURRED AND LANDED AT THE CLANTON MUNICIPAL AIRPORT.

EMERGENCY LANDING AND SUBSEQUENT DEPARTURE WERE ALL CONDUCTED AFTER CIVIL TWILIGHT.

PILOT REPORTS FILLING AIRCRAFT WITH 9 GALLONS OF FUEL PRIOR TO DEPARTURE. THE ROTAX ENGINE MANUAL STATES THAT THE AIRCRAFT BURNS 4 GALLONS/HOUR AT 75% POWER. FLIGHT INVOLVED NUMEROUS TOUCH N GO OPERATIONS.

EXAMINATION OF AIRCRAFT AFTER THE INCIDENT REVEALED 3 GALLONS OF FUEL IN AIRCRAFT. PILOTS ADMITS TO RUNNING OUT OF FUEL IN FLIGHT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
