## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT FLEW FROM EVANSVILLE INDIANA (EVV) TO THE BLOOMINGTON, INDIANA (BMG) ON AN IFR FLIGHT PLAN. UPON ARRIVAL OVER BMG HE WAS IN INSTRUMENT CONDITIONS SO HE CONDUCTED AN INSTRUMENT APPROACH TO RUNWAY 35. RUNWAY 17 AND 24 WERE ALSO IN USE. THE PILOT FLARED FOR LANDING AND HEARD AN UNUSUAL NOISE, WHICH WAS THE PROPELLER STRIKING THE RUNWAY. THE PILOT REALIZED THE LANDING GEAR WAS NOT EXTENDED AND CONDUCTED A GO-AROUND, CYCLED THE LANDING GEAR, DID A FLY BY TO ENSURE THE GEAR WAS DOWN, AND LANDED SAFELY. THE TIP OF EACH PROPELLER BLADE WAS DAMAGED AND THE ASSOCIATED PROP STRIKE SIGNATURE WAS FOUND ON RUNWAY 35.
