## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON MAY 24, 2013 N23830, A BEECHCRAFT SUNDOWNER C-23 S/N M-2002 ATTEMPTED TAKE OFF ON GRASS RWY 19 IN BURLINGTON WISCONSIN (KBUU) AT 1640 CST. ABOUT1000 FEET INTO THE TAKE OFF THE PILOT DECIDED TO ABORT THE TAKE OFF. THE AIRCRAFT ROLLED OUT ABOUT 200 FEET PAST THE END OF RUNWAY MARKERS AND RAN THROUGH A SMALL WATERWAY SWAIL. THE NOSE LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED CAUSING THE PROPELLER TO STRIKE THE GROUND. THE PILOT AND TWO PASSENGERS WERE ON BOARD AND DEPLANED WITHOUT INJURY OR FURTHER INCIDENT. THE AIRCRAFT WAS TOWED TO A LOCAL HANGAR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
