## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT WAS ON SECOND FLIGHT IN TYPE. A PIO BEGAN WHEN THE PILOT ALLOWED THE NOSE TO CONTACT THE RUNWAY AND THE GLIDER BEGAN TO BOUNCE. THE ASW-20 HAS A CG TOW HOOK WHICH WAS BEING USED FOR AN AERO-TOW. IT DOES NOT HAVE NOSE HOOK SYSTEM.

## Other reports on N120PV (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Incident 19860817070019I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19860817070019I), Aug 17, 1986: Schler ASW20 (N120PV), Llano, CA, Minor damage. Glider pilot aborted takeoff when wing runner let go causing airraft to yaw. Pilot unable to avoid parked aircraft.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
