## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE AIRMAN WAS PRACTICING FLOAT OPERATIONS IN A STRAIGHT FLOAT EQUIPPED CE206 IN A NO WIND, VMC CONDITION. THE FLIGHT WAS CONDUCTED UNDER PERSONAL PART 91, IN PREPARATION FOR A PART 135 INITIAL EVALUATION. ON LANDING THE RIGHT FLOAT STRUCK THE WATER IN A NOSE LOW ATTITUDE, IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWED BY THE LEFT FLOAT. THE AIRCRAFT WENT STRAIGHT OVER ON IT'S NOSE AND RESTED IN 6-10 FEET OF WATER, INVERTED. BOTH FLOATS WERE SUBSTANTIALLY DAMAGED. THE AIRCRAFT CANNOT BE SEEN DUE TO THE DARKNESS OF THE WATER.
