THE PILOT STATED THAT HE SAW TREES IN CLOSE PROXIMITY BELOW THE AIRCRAFT AND INITIATED A STEEP TURN TO THE LEFT TO AVOID THE RISING TERRAIN. DUE TO THE SLOW AIRSPEED AND EXCESSIVE BANK, THE AIRCRAFT STALLED AND CRASHED INTO THE MOUNTAIN.
