## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JUNE 5, 2013, AT 2248 LOCAL TIME, AN AGUSTA 109E, OPERATED BY KEYSTONE MED-FLIGHT LLC, 189A TWIN COUNTY ROAD, MORGANTOWN, PA 19543, CONDUCTED A CFR 14 PART 91 FLIGHT TO THE SECONDARY HELIPORT AT BEEBE MEDICAL CENTER, LEWES, DELAWARE. THE PRIMARY HELIPORT WAS OCCUPIED BY ANOTHER KEYSTONE MED-FLIGHT HELICOPTER. DURING THE LANDING AT THE SECONDARY (GROUND-LEVEL) HELIPORT, THE AIRCRAFT'S TAIL ROTOR STRUCK THE TOP OF A 36 INCH HIGH, 2 INCH DIAMETER PIPE THAT WAS SUPPORTING A PERIMETER SAFETY CHAIN.

THE AIRCRAFT'S TAIL ROTOR SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE. THERE WERE NO PASSENGERS OR INJURIES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
