## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JUNE 12, 2013, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ THE PILOT OF N2020K WAS FLYING A SOLO CROSS COUNTRY FLIGHT TO TUSKEGEE, ALABAMA (06A). DURING THE LANDING THE PILOT PULLED THE PROP LEVERS TO THE FEATHER POSITION INSTEAD OF THE THROTTLES. THE PILOT THEN LOST CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT AND MADE A HARD LANDING ON THE NOSE GEAR BREAKING THE WHEEL AND FORK ASSEMBLY FROM THE AIRCRAFT. THIS CAUSED THE NOSE LANDING GEAR TO COLLAPSE ALLOWING BOTH PROPS TO CONTACT THE GROUND.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
