## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

A ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS PERFORMING A PARACHUTE JUMP AT THE LODI AIRPORT, PARACHUTE JUMP CENTER AND IS VERY EXPERIENCED.

A HIGHWAY IS EAST OF AIRPORT AND JUMP CENTER LANDING ZONE. THIS HIGHWAY HAS POWER LINES ON EAST SIDE AND RUN PARALLEL WITH FREEWAY, NORTH AND SOUTH.

^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS ON APPROACH TO LANDING AREA AND HAD GONE TO FAR EAST OF HIGHWAY AND POWER LINES. HE THEN TURNED LEFT TOWARDS FINAL APPROACH BUT WAS TO LOW TO MAKE IT OVER THE POWER LINES AND FREEWAY. HE THEN TURNED RIGHT, HIT THE POWER LINES, WAS ELECTROCUTED AND HIT GROUND HARD.

HE WAS AIR LIFTED TO UC DAVIS HOSPITAL AND IS IN CRITICAL CONDITION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
