## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

STUDENT PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ LINED UP ON THE RUNWAY CENTERLINE OF RUNWAY 10 AFTER BEING CLEARED FOR TAKEOFF. HE ADDED POWER TO BEGIN THE TAKEOFF ROLL. HE THEN PULLED THE SEAT-LATCH LEVER TO THE UNLOCK POSITION TO ADJUST HIS SEAT. THE SEAT MOVED BACK, HE PULLED BACK ON THE CONTROL YOKE WHICH RAISED THE NOSE. HE THEN PUSED THE NOSE DOWN AND REALIZED HE WAS HEADING AT AN ANGLE FROM THE CENTERLINE OF THE RUNWAY TOWARD THE GRASS ALONGSIDE THE RUNWAY. HE ELECTED TO CONTINUE GOING STRAIGHT WHILE TRAVERSING OFF THE RUNWAY AND ATTEMPTING TO STOP. THE AIRCRAFT COLLIDED WITH A RUNWAY LIGHT, A TAXIWAY SIGN, AND A TAXIWAY LIGHT BEFORE COMING TO A STOP.

## NTSB investigation

None matched to this report by aircraft and date. Search the NTSB's own records: https://data.ntsb.gov/carol-main-public/basic-search

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
