PILOT REPORTED LANDING GEAR WARNING PRIOR TO LANDING AT FALCON FIELD, (KFFZ) ARIZONA.

PILOT STATED THAT DURING LANDING HE EXPERIENCED AN AUDIBLE WARNING OF POSSIBLE GEAR NOT LOCKED OR SWITCH NOT MADE, ALTHOUGH HE COULD SEE THREE WHEELS FROM THE COCKPIT. IN THE INTEREST OF SAFETY HE REQUESTED A GO AROUND FROM THE TOWER. THE TOWER ASKED WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS. THE PILOT GAVE THEM THE SIMPLE ANSWER HE WASN?T SURE THE GEAR WAS LOCKED. THE PILOT STATED THAT HE CYCLED THE GEAR TWICE AND HAD NO FURTHER ISSUES DURING LANDING. NO EMERGENCY WAS REQUESTED OR DECLARED BY THE PILOT.

ON 7/16/2013 THE LANDING GEAR SYSTEM WAS INSPECTED FOR NORMAL OPERATION, SECURITY AND PROPER SERVICING AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.
