## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JULY 18, 2013 AT APPROXIMATELY 1352 MOUNTAIN DAYLIGHT TIME, N801KU, AN AMATEUR BUILT ZENITH CH-801, SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE WHEN THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED DURING LANDING ROLL OUT AT EL PASO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (KELP). NEITHER THE AIRLINE TRANSPORT PILOT NOR THE PASSENGER ON BOARD RECEIVED ANY INJURIES. THE AIRCRAFT WAS BEING OPERATED UNDER 14 CFR PART 91 VISUAL FLIGHT RULES. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS EXISTED AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT. NO VFR FLIGHT PLAN HAD BEEN FILED FOR THE FLIGHT FROM SILVER CITY, NM (KSVC).

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
