## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT OF THE GLIDER (N304TJ)SAID HE OVER CORRECTED TO THE RIGHT ON HIS LANDING ROLLOUT ON RUNWAY 36. HE THEN WENT OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY INTO THE GRASS WHILE TRYING TO MISS A RUNWAY LIGHT. THIS PATH TOOK HIM DOWN THE HILL AND INTO A PARKED GLIDER. HE SAID THAT THERE IS VERY LITTLEDIRECTIONAL CONTROL ON THE GROUND IN A GLIDER AND HE COULD NOT MANUEVER AWAY FROM IT. HE ALSO SAID THAT BECAUSE OF THE MOMENTUM FROM THE DOWNHILL SLOPE HE WAS UNABLE TO STOP BEFORE IMPACTING THE PARKED GLIDER. HE SAID THAT BRAKING IS ALSO VERY LIMITED IN A GLIDER. AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT THE WINDS WERE LIGHT AND VARIABLE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
