## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ STATED THAT HE WAS PERFORMING TOUCH AND GOES THAT MORNING. HE WAS CLEARED FOR RUNWAY 12 AND HE CONSIDERED THE APPROACH TO BE NORMAL. DURING THE ROLL OUT FROM THE LANDING WITH ALL THREE WHEELS ON THE GROUND, THE PILOT STATED HE HEARD A ?POP? SOUND AND THEN HE REALIZED THAT THE NOSE GEAR HAD BROKEN OFF (SEPARATED) OFF THE AIRCRAFT. THE AIRCRAFT SKIDDED TO A STOP. THE PILOT STATED THAT THERE WAS NO FIRE, BUT SOME FUEL DID LEAK OUT THROUGH THE FUEL VENT. BESIDES THE NOSE GEAR BROKEN, THE ONLY OTHER DAMAGE WAS THE PROPELLER TIPS WERE SPLINTERED AND BROKEN APPROXIMATELY 6? FROM THE TIPS. THE NOSE CONE WAS SCUFFED AS WELL.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
