## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON AUGUST 1, 2013, ABOUT 0800 CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME, A JABIRU PULSAR, N47DR, BECAME AIRBORNE WHILE ATTEMPTING A HIGH SPEED TAXI ON RUNWAY 18 AT MIDWAY REGIONAL AIRPORT (JWY) IN MIDLOTHIAN TEXAS. THE PILOT CLOSED THE THROTTLE AFTER THE AIRCRAFT BECAME AIRBORNE AT APPROXIMATELY 40 KNOTS. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED HARD CAUSING SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE. THE PILOT RECEIVED MINOR INJURIES. THE AIRCRAFT WAS OPERATING UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF 14 CODE OF FEDERAL REGULATIONS PART 91. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
