## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

SOUTHWEST AIRLINE FLIGHT FROM CLT TO BWI ENCOUNTERED CLEAR AIR TURBULENCE AT FL260 APPROXIMATELY 80 MILES FROM ITS DESTINATION. TWO OF THREE WORKING FLIGHT ATTENDANTS ABOARD WERE INJURED.

THE FLIGHT CONTINUED TO ITS DESTINATION WHERE PARAMEDICS MET IT AT ITS GATE.

ONE OF THE INJURED FLIGHT ATTENDANTS WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE BALTIMORE WASHINGTON MEDICAL CENTER, TREATED FOR A KNEE INJURY, AND RELEASED THE SAME EVENING. SHE RETURNED TO WORK AUGUST 8, 2012.

THE OTHER INJURED FLIGHT ATTENDANT REFUSED TRANSPORTATION TO THE HOSPITAL. SHE WAS TRANSPORTED (DEADHEADED) TO HER HOME BASE AND SOUGHT MEDICAL ATTENTION FROM HER PRIVATE PHYSICIAN AT A LATER DATE. SHE RETURNED TO WORK AUGUST 12, 2013.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
