## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB WPR13CA369](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/WPR13CA369), Aug 8, 2013: Cessna 172RG (N4886V), Kent, WA, substantial damage. Probable cause: Failure of the certified flight instructor and student pilot to complete the landing checklist resulting in a gear-up landing.

## Other reports on N4886V (1)

- [Incident 19950430014159I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19950430014159I), Apr 30, 1995: Cessna 172RG (N4886V), Renton, WA, Minor damage. During flight check touch and go pilot inadventently retracted landing gear on landing roll.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System.
