## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

N6702Y WAS NOT ABLE TO MAINTAIN FLIGHT DUE TO FUEL STARVATION, WHICH LEAD TO A OFF AIRPORT LANDING. ON SCENE INVESTIGATION OF THE AIRCRAFT INDICATED LEFT WING FUEL TANK DEPLETED , THE RIGHT WING FUEL TANK WAS ESTIMATED AT 90 % FULL. THE FUEL SELECTOR ON THIS TYPE AIRCRAFT CAN ONLY PLACED IN THE ON OR OFF POSITION.

FUEL SAMPLE INDICATED NO CONTAMINATION.

DUE TO THE LOW INSURANCE COVERAGE, THE REGISTERED OWNER WILL NOT REPAIR THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
