## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

N3274U WAS ON A VFR TRAINING FLIGHT. THE^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ (STUDENT), OCCUPIED THE BACK SEAT, WITH THE FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR IN FRONT. THE PURPOSE OF THE FLIGHT WAS TO FAMILIARIZE THE OWNER WITH A TAILDRAGGER AIRCRAFT.

UPON LANDING AT (4G0), THE INSTRUCTOR STATED THAT THE LANDING WAS NORMAL. AFTER A 500' ROLLOUT THE AIRCRAFT TURNED ABRUPTLY TO THE RIGHT AND CAME TO REST AT THE BOTTOM OF A RAVINE CAUSING SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE TO THE LANDING GEAR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
