## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE P.I.C. WAS FLYING HIS 4TH FLT. OF THE DAY WHEN THE ENG. THROTTLE STUCK AT FULL POWER SETTING INTO THE FIREWALL. THE P.I.C. SUBSEQUENTLY HAD TO MANIPULATE THE PROP AND THROTTLE MIXTURE IN ORDER TO DESCEND.

P.I.C. ELECTED TO DESCEND AND LAND IN LAL BECAUSE IT IS THE MX. PROVIDER'S LOCATION.

P.I.C. INFORMED ATC THAT HE WOULD BE MAKING A PWR. OFF LDG. AND REQ. A TUG TO TOW THE ACFT. TO THE MX. PROVIDER.

THE P.I.C. PULLED THE MIXTURE IN THE PATTERN, GLIDED IN FOR A LDG. ON RWY. 9 AND ROLLED OFF ONTO TXWY. A3. NO DAMAGE TO THE ACFT. OR INJURY TO THE P.I.C..

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
