## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT STATED, ?I WAS ON A FLIGHT FROM OSU TO TEB WITH MY SON. I WAS ON AN ILS RWY 6 APPROACH, IN COMMUNICATION WITH TEB TOWER AND CLEARED TO LAND. THE PLANE WAS IN LANDING CONFIGURATION AND I FOLLOWED THE GLIDESLOPE DOWN TO THE RUNWAY AND FLARED AND TOUCHED DOWN WITHOUT INCIDENT. I WAS APPLYING BRAKES TO SLOW DOWN AS I NORMALLY DO. THE TOWER INSTRUCTED ME TO TURN OFF ON TAXIWAY HOTEL. MOMENTS LATER I FELT THE PLANE PULL TO THE LEFT AND THE LEFT MAIN TIRE GO FLAT. I MAINTAINED CONTROL AND CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP. I DID NOT HAVE SUFFICIENT FORWARD VELOCITY TO EXIT HOTEL AND CLEAR THE RUNWAY. UNFORTUNATELY THE RUNWAY HAD TO BE TEMPORARILY CLOSE WHILE A TUG WAS CALLED TO TOW THE PLANE. THE AIRCRAFT WAS TOWED TO MERIDIAN WHERE IT IS BEING CHECKED AND THE TIRE REPLACED. IT IS STILL THERE AND I DON?T PLAN TO MOVE IT UNTIL EVERYTHING IS OKAY. NEITHER MY SON NOR I WERE INJURED AND THERE WAS NO STRUCTURAL DAMAGE TO THE PLANE. AT ALL TIMES I COMPLIED WITH ATC INSTRUCTIONS.?

MAINTENANCE NOTED THAT THE AIRCRAFT TIRE WAS WORN AND BOTH THE LEFT HAND TIRE AND TUBE WERE REPLACED. NO OTHER DAMAGED WAS NOTED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
