## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT STATED THAT HE WAS ACCOMPLISHING AERIAL APPLICATION OF A FIELD FROM WEST TO EAST ALONG THE SOUTH EDGE OF A FIELD. HE STATED HE WAS CONCENTRATING ON THE WIRES AT THE SOUTH EDGE OF THE FIELD, SINCE HE WAS CLOSE TO THEM. AS HE WAS FINISHING HIS FIRST PASS AND WAS PULLING UP HE SAW THE WIRES IN FRONT OF HIM AT THE EAST EDGE OF THE FIELD. HE WAS ABLE TO CLIMB ENOUGH SO THAT HE STRUCK THE WIRES WITH JUST THE LANDING GEAR RIGHT ABOVE THE MAIN WHEELS. BOTH WIRES BROKE UPON IMPACT WITH THE LANDING GEAR. THE PILOT DETERMINED THAT THE AIRCRAFT APPEARED TO BE UNDAMAGED, SO HE COMPLETED SPRAYING THE FIELD AND THEN RETURNED TO ELBOW LAKE, MN AIRPORT (Y63) AND LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
