## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE FLT SCHOOL OPERATOR OF THE ACFT RPTD THE FOLLOWING: THE PIC WAS ON A RENTAL FLIGHT TO KXFL FOR LUNCH WITH TWO PAX. AFTER LDG, THE PIC TAXIED THE ACFT TO THE FBO AND TURNED ON TO THE RAMP. THE RT WINGTIP STRUCK THE RUDDER TRIM TAB OF AN UNOCCUPIED LR-35 (N58MM) THAT WAS PARKED ON THE RAMP.

DAMAGE TO N385ER CONSISTED OF A BROKEN NAV LIGHT LENS COVER AND SCRATCHED PAINT ON THE WING TIP. VISIBLE DAMAGE TO THE PARKED ACFT CONSISTED OF PAINT TRANSFER MARKS ON THE TRAILING EDGE OF THE RUDDER TRIM TAB.

THE PIC WAS REPORTEDLY TAXIING ON A TAXI CENTERLINE WHEN THE INCIDENT OCCURRED. SCHOOL PERSONNEL WHO INSPECTED THE SITE RPTD THE TAIL CONTACT POINT ON THE PARKED ACFT WAS ABOUT 18' 2" FROM THE CENTERLINE, AND NOTED THAT THERE WERE NO OBSTRUCTIONS THAT WOULD HAVE PRECLUDED THE PIC FROM TAXIING SLIGHTLY TO THE LEFT OF THE CENTERLINE TO AVOID CONTACTING THE PARKED ACFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
