## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AFTER CONDUCTING A FEW AEROBATIC MANEUVERS WITH A FREIND, THE AIRCRAFT WAS FLYING STRAIGHT AND LEVEL WHEN THE ENGINE LOST POWER. THE PILOT ATTEMPTED TO RESTART THE ENGINE. THE ENGINE WOULD NOT RESTART. THE PILOT ATTEMPTED TO LAND AT WHEELER ARMY AIRFIELD. THE PASSENGER CONTACTED WHEELER TOWER AND DECLARED AN EMERGENCY. THE PILOT DECIDED HE WAS LOSING TOO MUCH ALTITUDE TO LAND AT WHEELER ARMY AIRFIELD AND ELECTED TO LAND IN A PLOWED FIELD. THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN INTO SOFT GROUND AND FLIPPED ON ITS BACK AFTER LANDING. BOTH OCCUPANTS EXITED THE AIRCRAFT.
