## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON SEPTEMBER 1, 2013 AT APPROXIMATELY 1326 CDT, N63FK, A PIPER PA-28-180 IMPACTED THE RUNWAY AT ANDREWS COUNTY AIRPORT (E11) LOCATED IN ANDREWS, TEXAS. THE PILOT WAS INTENDING TO LAND ON RUNWAY 16 WHEN HE LOST DIRECTIONAL CONTROL AND EXITED TO THE EAST. THERE WAS MINOR DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE COWLING, ENGINE MOUNT, PROPELLER AND NOSE LANDING GEAR. THE PILOT AND PASSENGER WERE UNINJURED AND WERE ABLE TO EXTRICATE THEMSELVES FROM THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
