PILOT STATED THAT AFTER A TAKEOFF FROM GSH AIRPORT TO RETURN TO EKM HE HEARD A LOUD THUD AND THEN THE CANOPY FAILED AND DEPARTED THE AIRCRAFT . AIRCRAFT LANDED AT GSH WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.
