## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN ON THE NORTH END OF THE AIRSTRIP AT THE APPROACH END LANDING UPHILL WITHOUT SUFFICIENTLY COMPENSATING FOR THE UPHILL GRADE OF THE AIRSTRIP. AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN IN A LEVEL PITCH ATTITUDE RELATIVE TO THE HORIZON BUT IN A NOSE LOW PITCH ATTITUDE RELATIVE TO THE GRADE OF THE AIRSTRIP, CAUSING THE NOSEWHEEL TO CONTACT THE AIRSTRIP FIRST. THE NOSEGEAR COLLAPSED, BOTH PROPELLER BLADES STRUCK THE GROUND, THE NOSE OF THE AIRCRAFT STRUCK THE GROUND, AND THE AIRCRAFT NOSED OVER, COMING TO REST ON ITS TOP.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB WPR13CA401](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/WPR13CA401), Sep 7, 2013: Scheel Stanley K KITFOX-SERIES 7 (N7075Z), Cascade, ID, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain a proper glide path, which resulted in a touchdown short of the runway.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
