## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING CRUISE IN THE VICINITY OF LAKE THUNDERBIRD, THE PILOT REPORTED, HIS ALL ELECTRIC AIRCRAFT LOST ALL ELECTRICAL POWER. IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWED BY A STRONG ELECTRICAL SMELL. THE PILOT DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND PROCEDED DIRECTLY TO THE NORMAN AIRPORT (OUN). HE REPORTED HE ENTERED THE PATTERN DID NOT SEE ANY CONFLICTING TRAFFIC ON RUNWAY 21, AND MANUALY EXTENDED THE LANDING GEAR. HE REPORTED THE GEAR SOUND LIKE IT WAS DOWN. WITH NO ELECTRICAL HE COULD NOT COMMUNICATE WITH TOWER NOR WAS A LANDING GEAR STATUS AVAILABLE. ON LANDING THE NOSE GEAR COLLASPED CAUSING MINOR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
