## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT STATED, UPON LANDING AT A PRIVATE STRIP, HE APPLIED BRAKES AND BEGAN TO SLIP. HE CONTINUED DOWN CENTER OF STRIP, PERIODICALLY APPLYING BRAKES TO SLOW THE AIRCRAFT AND MAINTAIN CONTROL. HE WAS AWARE OF SLIPPING WHEN BRAKES WERE APPLIED. HE REALIZED HE WAS UNABLE TO SLOW THE AIRCRAFT SUFFIECIENTLY; HE VEERED TO THE LEFT INTO THE GRASS TO SLOW THE AIRCRAFT, THIS SLOWED THE AIRCRAFT CONSIDERABLY. AS HE VEERED TO THE LEFT TO PROCEED TO THE RAMP, THE AIRCRAFT NOSED INTO A DITCH. DAMAGE WAS LIMITED TO THE END CAP OF THE RIGHT WING AND PROPELLERS. THE LANDING STRIP WAS WET FROM RAIN AND HAD BEEN SEALED IN THE PAST WEEK. THE PILOT WAS UNAWARE OF THE STRIP BEING RESEALED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
