## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT WAS TAKING OFF FROM ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, WHICH IS A SUBDIVISION STREET NEXT TO THE PILOTS HOME IN ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^. AIRCRAFT FAILED TO GAIN LIFT AND WAS GOING TOO FAST FOR PILOT TO STOP THE AIRCRAFT PRIOR TO RUNNING OUT OF ROAD. AIRCRAFT TURNED TO THE WEST (LEFT) AND CONTACTED THE GROUND TO THE SOUTHEAST OF AN AUDIO/VIDEO BUSINESS PARKING LOT ADJACENT TO THE SUBDIVISION. AIRCRAFT CONTINUED THROUGH THE PARKING LOT, CONTACTING A LIGHT POLE WITH THE LEFT WING BEFORE COMING TO REST IN THE TRAFFIC LANES OF SEWARD MERIDIAN HIGHWAY. PILOT STATED THAT THE WINGS HAD HEAVY FROST PRIOR TO TAKE OFF AND HE HAD NOT PROPERLY CLEARED THE FROST FROM THE WINGS BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO TAKE OFF. IIC OBSERVED HEAVY FROST REMAINING ON THE WINGS APPROXIMATELY 90 MINUTES AFTER THE TIME OF THE ACCIDENT.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
