## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 11/18/2013, THE PILOT WAS CLEARED TO LAND AT KLBB. THE PILOT PLACED THE GEAR HANDLE IN THE DOWN POSITION AND DID NOT RECEIVE A DOWN AND LOCKED INDICATION FOR THE GEAR SYSTEM. THE PILOT THEN CONTACTED AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL AND ASKED THEM TO VERIFY THE GEAR WAS DOWN. THE CONTROLLER INDICATED THE GEAR APPEARED DOWN AND OFFERED A LOW APPROACH FOR A BETTER LOOK. UPON TOUCH DOWN ON RUNWAY 8 THE GEAR COLLAPSED. THERE WAS ONE ONBOARD AND NO INJURIES. THE AIRCRAFT RECEIVED MINOR DAMAGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
