## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE 14 CFR 91 FLIGHT WAS CONDUCTED UNDER IFR RULES FROM HUF TO JVY ON 11/29/2013. UPON ARRIVAL AT THE DESTINATION, THE PILOT CANCELED HIS IFR FLIGHT PLAN AND OBSERVED THAT THE AIRCRAFT WAS HIGH ON THE APPROACH. HE EXECUTED A GO-AROUND, RAISED THE LANDING GEAR, AND SUBSEQUENTLY FAILED TO EXTEND IT DURING THE SECOND LANDING ATTEMPT. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER AND UNDERBELLY. THE PILOT WAS THE SOLE OCCUPANT AND WAS UNINJURED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
