## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CEN14FA071](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN14FA071), Nov 29, 2013: Cessna 182E (N3087Y), Delta, CO, destroyed, 1 fatal. Probable cause: The student pilot’s decision to attempt flight into instrument meteorological conditions, which resulted in a loss of control and ground impact.

## Other reports on N3087Y (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Incident 19900608030499I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19900608030499I), Jun 8, 1990: Cessna 182 (N3087Y), Burlington, CO. Loss of engine oil pressure, emergency landing in field. Oil filter separated from mounting pad.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
