## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT WAS ON DEPARTURE FROM DIK TO SDL. PILOT ABORTED TAKE OFF AND ATTEMPTED TO STOP AIRCRAFT. RIGHT MAIN BRAKE LOCKED AND TIRE SKIDDED AND BLOW OUT RH MAIN TIRE. THE WHEEL WAS GROUND ABOUT 1/3 OFF, AIRCRAFT THEN DEPARTED END OF RUNWAY AND SLID ON THE OPEN FIELD FOR ABOUT 400 FEET BEFORE COMING TO REST.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
