## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE TWO GATES IN QUESTION WERE NOT DESIGNED TO FACILITATE BOTH BOEING 757 AND BOEING 737 (NEXT GEN) AIRCRAFT TOGETHER AT THE SAME TIME. THE KLM 737 WAS STILL AT THE GATE BECAUSE OF A WEATHER DELAY. THE US AIRWAYS 757 APPEARED TO PROPERLY FOLLOW THE CENTER LINE USING THE SELF-PARKING SYSTEM USED AT THIS STATION.

THE B-757 SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE RIGHT WINGTIP LEADING EDGE. NO DAMAGE TO THE SPAR WAS FOUND. THE AIRCRAFT WAS REPOSITIONED TO CHARLOTTE, NC FOR REPAIRS.

## Other aircraft in the event

- PH-BXZ, Boeing B-737: no report for this aircraft in the release

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
