## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT WAS ON ILS APPROACH TO LAND AT LWM RUNWAY 5. HE STATED HE DID NOT HAVE ANY ISSUES WITH THE AIRCRAFT ON THE APPROACH. HE BROKE OUT OF THE CLOUDS AT 500'ON A HEADING OF 050. HE STATED THAT THE RUNWAY LIGHTS WERE NOT ON AT THE TIME. RUNWAY WAS SNOW COVERED, IT WAS SNOWING AND OVERCAST AT THE TIME. HE STATED IT WAS DIFFICULT TO DISTINGUISH BETWEEN THE RUNWAY & THE GRASS DUE TO THE SNOW DRIFTING AND AREA COVERED BY SNOW. HE TOUCHED DOWN AND FELT THE ROLL OUT WAS BUMPY AND ROUGH. HE NOTICED A TAXI LIGHT GO BY HIS FIELD OF VIEW AND THOUGHT HE MAY NOT BE ON THE RUNWAY. HE ESTIMATED THE AIRCRAFT ROLLED OUT 200-300'. THE NOSE GEAR HIT A SNOW BANK, THE NOSE GEAR SLOWLY COLLAPSED AND THE AIRCRAFT SETTLED NOSE DOWN INTO THE SNOW VERY SLOWLY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
