## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

SHORTLY AFTER DEPARTURE AT APPROXIMATELY 16,000FT THE PIC GOT A MASTER CAUTION CABIN ALTITUDE LIGHT. THE PIC DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND WAS GIVEN CLEARANCE TO LAND BACK AT (KSUS). THE AIRCRAFT LANDED WITH OUT INCIDENT. AFTER RETURNING TO (KSUS) THE PIC REALIZED THAT THE AIR SOURCE SELECT SWITCH ON THE PRESSURIZATION PANEL WAS IN THE "OFF" POSITION. THIS SWITCH SHOULD OF BEEN IN THE "BOTH" POSITION FOR CABIN PRESSURIZATION. THE PIC CONFIRMED THE SYSTEM WAS WORKING OK, REFUELED THE AIRCRAFT AND DEPARTED FOR (KPBI)

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
