## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JANUARY 22, 2014, AT APPROXIMATELY 1330 CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME, A BEECH KING AIR 90, N580RA, DEPARTED THE RIGHT SIDE OF RUNWAY 36 AFTER LANDING AT DENTON MUNICIPAL AIRPORT (DTO) IN DENTON TEXAS. THE PILOT WAS PERFORMING SHORT FIELD LANDING PRACTICE WHEN THE AIRCRAFT SWERVED RIGHT, THE LEFT MAIN TIRE BLEW, AND THE LEFT PROPELLER STRUCK A RUNWAY LIGHT. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST IN THE GRASS JUST RIGHT OF RUNWAY 36. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE AND BOTH PILOTS WERE UNINJURED. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME OF THE ACCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
