## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

CFI WAS DEMONSTRATING A LOW APPROACH TO A RUNNING/ROLL-ON LANDING TO TAXIWAY DELTA. AFTER LANDING THE INSTRUCTOR ATTEMPTED TO GET AIRBORNE TO PREVENT THE AIRCRAFT FROM EXITING THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE TAXIWAY. THE AIRCRAFT RAISED FROM THE SURFACE AND A ROLL TO THE LEFT WAS EXPERIENCED CAUSED BY DYNAMIC ROLL OVER. WITH INSUFFICIENT CONTROL POWER REMAINING TO STOP THE ROLLING MOMENT, THE AIRCRAFT IMPACTED THE GROUND. THE ENSUING CRASH DESTROYED THE AIRCRAFT AND BOTH THE STUDENT AND INSTRUCTOR EXITED THE WRECKAGE WITHOUT INJURY.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ERA14CA102](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ERA14CA102), Jan 23, 2014: Robinson Helicopter R22 Beta (N72AP), West Palm Beach, FL, substantial damage. Probable cause: The certificated flight instructor's failure to maintain helicopter control during a run-on landing, resulting in a rollover and ground collision.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
