## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

STUDENT PILOT WAS PERFORMING HIS THIRD SOLO LANDING AT KIMM (IMMOKALEE, FLORIDA) RUNWAY 18. DURING THE VFR APPROACH, JUST BEFORE THE FINAL FLAIR, A GUST OF WIND PUSHED THE AIRCRAFT TO THE LEFT, THE PILOT CORRECTED AND BROUGHT THE AIRCRAFT BACK TO CENTER. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED HARD ON THE MAIN GEAR FOLLOWED BY THE NOSE GEAR AND THEN BOUNCED TWICE BEFORE THE GEAR WAS FIRMLY ON THE GROUND.

ONE BLADE OF THE PROPELLER WAS BENT, THE FIREWALL WAS DAMAGED AS WAS THE COCKPIT FLOOR AROUND THE PEDESTAL. THERE IS ALSO EVIDENCE THE STRUCTURE BEHIND THE MAIN GEAR WAS DAMAGED.
