## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT WAS LANDING ON RUNWAY 36 AT WORTHINGTON, MN (OTG). AFTER TOUCHDOWN ON THE RUNWAY, AIRCRAFT WAS TURNING TO THE LEFT, SO PILOT DECIDED TO DO A GO-AROUND AND ADDED FULL POWER. AIRCRAFT THEN TURNED FURTHER TO THE LEFT, WENT OFF THE RUNWAY AND WENT ACROSS TAXIWAY. ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE TAXIWAY, THE AIRCRAFT BECAME SLIGHTLY AIRBORNE. THE MAIN WHEELS THEN HIT THE GROUND AND FLIPPED OVER COMING TO REST ON ITS BACK.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CEN14CA130](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN14CA130), Feb 3, 2014: Taylorcraft BC12 D (N43462), Worthington, MN, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's loss of control during a crosswind landing.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
