## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

WHILE ENROUTE FROM OAK TO MSP, AIRCRAFT INCURRED AN AUTO-PILOT ROLL CONTROL FAILURE. AIRCRAFT WAS ABLE TO BE HAND FLOWN, BUT WITH EXCESSIVE AND ABNORMAL RESISTANCE TO AILERON INPUTS. PILOTS DETERMINED THAT IT WAS BEST TO CONTINUE TO DESTINATION. WHILE DESCENDING TO MSP, PILOTS IMPLEMENTED ACTIONS PER AILERON CONTROL JAM PROCEDURES. JAMMING APPEARED TO BE ON THE CO-PILOT WITH PILOT ABLE TO MAINTAIN CONTROL VIA THE ROLL SPOILERS. PILOTS DECLARED AN EMERGENCY ON APPROACH AS A PRECAUTION REQUESTING EMERGENCY SERVICES TO BE STANDING BY. AIRCRAFT WAS ABLE TO BE LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT, BUT WITH SLIGHT CHANGES FROM NORMAL LANDING CONFIGURATION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
