## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

STUDENT PILOT WAS PRACTICING TOUCH AND GO LANDINGS AT HIS HOME AIRPORT. AFTER HIS 5TH TOUCH AND GO HE REQUESTED A FULL STOP FROM THE CONTROL TOWER. HE WAS CLEARED TO LAND AND FLEW A NORMAL TRAFFIC PATTERN. AFTER TOUCH DOWN ON THE MAIN WHEELS AND NOSE WHEEL TOUCH DOWN THE STUDENT PILOT THOUGHT THE NOSE WHEEL TIRE HAD BURST. THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN TO YAW INCREASINGLY LEFT AND RIGHT UNTIL THE AIRCRAFT STRUCK A TAXIWAY SIGN.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
