## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

FEBRUARY 16, 2014 AT APPROXIMATELY 1730 LOCAL TIME N79SV A BELLANCA VIKING DEPARTED KPWK (CHICAGO EXECUTIVE AIRPORT) ON A IFR FLIGHT PLAN WITH MINOCQUA WISCONSIN (KARV) AS THE DESTINATION. 4 MILES FROM KARV THE PILOT CANCELLED THE IFR FLIGHT PLAN AND PREPARED FOR LANDING IN KARV. THE WEATHER WAS CLEAR VFR CONDITIONS WITH SPARSE PATCHES OF LIGHT SNOW ON RWY 36. UPON LANDING AND SHORTLY AFTER ROLLOUT THE NOSE LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED CAUSING THE PROPELLER TO STRIKE THE GROUND THEN CAME TO A REST. THE PILOT AND ONE PASSENGER WERE ON BOARD WITH NO INJURIES. THE AIRCRAFT WAS REMOVED FROM THE RUNWAY AND TAKEN TO A LOCAL HANGAR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
