## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

UPON LANDING PILOT OF N914BB STATED THAT THE LEFT MAIN TIRE BLEW. THE PILOT WAS NOT ABLE TO MAINTAIN DIRECTIONAL CONTROL AND EXITED RUNWAY 25L AT KDVT TO THE LEFT INTO A ROCKY AREA BETWEEN THE RUNWAY AND ADJACENT TAXIWAY. DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT CONSISTED OF DAMAGE TO THE LEFT WHEEL PANT, AND BRAKE ASSEMBLY. AS A RESULT OF THE INVESTITGATION IT APPEARS THAT SOME UNKNOWN OBJECT (POSSIBLY WEDGED BETWEEN THE TIRE AND WHEEL PANT) CUT THE LEFT MAIN TIRE AND TUBE CAUSING THE TIRE TO DEFLATE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
